Natural variations of marble and granite:
As with all natural products, variations occur from block to block and from slab to slab.
Marble and granite, shading, veining structures and colouration can vary within the slab itself (One can not rely on small 10mm x 100mm samples).
With literally 1000's of samples supplied by us, and samples from other marble & granite companies, it sometimes becomes difficult to match a customer's expectation to the material currently in stock and to be supplied.
Samples are supplied on the basis that they only represent an indication of what the material looks like, not an exact match of current stocks in our yard.
Note: Materials supplied by marble and granite suppliers are also regularly known by different names or alternative description.
As a result of this, it is imperative that you or your customer is aware of these variations and that if you wish to place an order with Ferazzi Marble Ltd that the name of the material ordered we shall supply as near as possible to the description on this estimate.
If coloration, veining, etc. is critical to your requirements:- you will need to satisfy yourselves by inspecting the raw material in our stock yard 5 days prior to Ferazzi starting the job. Failing to do so will mean that we shall select the raw material as ordered.
Stock of raw material changes daily, therefore, if there is a time delay between choosing a material and the actual placing of an order, a second visit may be necessary to reduce the risk of any surprises.
When an order has been committed to production and the slabs cut, we cannot except cancellations or guarantee that amendments can be made from matching slabs.
Although we supply estimates for your requirements, certain materials are not normally stocked in our yard, but are on extended delivery times. Please check availability and lead times at time of placing orders.
